What is this? Contender for the dumbest idea I've ever had. JJK but they got creepypastas but the author has never interacted with the creepypasta community and therefore has no clue what's "in or out."

Serious Explanation

they're the negative energies of mankind condensed into forms that are like the things that are talked about online but some just happen to look like characters from creepypastas and others are their own original concepts. they are NOT 1 to 1. Here are the stats they'll be using! There’s some bonus stats they can get too with the inner ability perks. Note: none of this shit actually matters.

Explaining the concept weakens it especially in the case of a certain blue hedgehog who has had his story retold so many times that no one can actually keep straight what's going on with him.

Rumorsverse: Pokemon Timeline

It's actually incredibly difficult for normal curses to exist as is in a pokemon dominant timeline, mostly because people's public perception goes "something weird happened? Must be a pokemon". Hence why the most dominant type of rumors tend to just be pokemon or pokemon trainers. Glitch Users themselves qualify as rumors, especially Ketsuban, in consideration of his missingno powers and in general already being an incredibly difficult person to encounter and document.

Fire and Ketsuban

In the one corner, we have ketsuban, based off the one story and slowly turned into his own thing. In the other corner, Fire Red of Pokemon False Red! (wait what) Trying to properly solidify the relationship between Ketsuban and Fire is like an onion this shit got layers No one can keep up with Ketsuban and Fire’s antagonistic…relation…? Link? Bond? It can’t be described as a friendship.

Even I the writer am like “i don’t know, everytime I write it or think about it keeps flip flopping and changing like water.” In the world where Red exists separate from Fire, and Ketsuban exists separate from Red but WAS Red at one point therein lies the problem for Fire in which: 1. Everyone has already done their journey in kanto before you 2. Everyone has already done their journey in kanto BETTER than you

What exactly are you supposed to do when the entire time you will be measured day 1 and not be considered good enough? “Red did this already. You’re not unique.” How can you live up to the person known as the living legend? And how is he supposed to feel for it too? You’ll never live up to what he wants for you. You don’t even know what he wants living under that spotlight where everyone will always consider him over you. You don’t deserve it. The actual Red (not the ideal one), currently passed out on Green’s couch after eating his leftovers and snoring (Green will chase him out with a broom later)
And then comes Ketsuban. He can’t measure up to Red either. And he was Red at one point, so the entire thing is confusing. The idol you put on a pedestal was a human being. You’re not sure what Ketsuban qualifies as.

One can’t exist without the other, one can’t be thought about without the comparison, everything exists in the vacuum of “this one is better and if you like one over the other you’re wrong.” I mean the story between these two is ultimately about self projection and rejection especially with layers of abandonment and resentment trying to mask yourself in a way to look like you are above all that and possibly elevated through outside means and the guy you are trying to hate is trying to understand you rather than hate you and it’s not fair because he has everything you’ve ever wanted but doesn’t even get it or appreciate it and you had to work for everything only for it to be taken away and replaced and what’s to say he isn’t going to be replaced either. What then. Do you hate him because he’s the mirror of everything you ever had or because he’s going to break just like you broke when his time comes and he's forgotten.
