there's a lot of shonen anime I've been meaning to get to watching but just totally haven't gotten through, like finishing up Yugioh GX and stuff. I like DBZ but I don't think I'd ever be able to draw Goku like... the way goku is. my hero academia: i think it's decent but I like how the world is full of guys who are kind of comic like but also in their own unique style.

Sailor Moon (90s and Manga): ahhh I used to remember watching the Dic Dub on youtube and things and fanmade stuff like solar Sailors. The manga art style is so different from the 90s that I was considering making it be seperate but they both fill out different niches of the moon world even if the anime is mostly filler of the week, I think it's got a nicer pace! I could do without this being the one that people use for like every future funk video though, there's more toei animation they can use.

Ojomajo Doremi: I don't really have that much attachment to this one, I just saw art of it on pinterest when I still used that and went "wow, circle hands, I do that! I can make this work!" That's a funny statement to say because my example doesn't even have them.

i heart precure i love magical girls and the power of love and hope and shit!! they can throw hands! I started with fresh and then worked my way to watching the other ones as a kid. Nice. I haven't watched much since mahou tsukai but I'm hoping one day I get back (tropical precure looked super fun!)

hidamari sketch
I heart slice of life! Stuff like 4 komas at my library and Chocomimi were my jam! I like how they’re just chilling and hanging out!

the yap session begins. This show was just so goddamn chaotic all the time and I feel like it fits in that section of like stuff that people still remember today because of the sound meme.

I think a kind of artstyle for cartoons is like that one style from the mid 00s of cartoons with like thicker lines and shapes and thangs Idk what it's called but that's good! Y2K art?

I've realized I've completely neglected to post the lineup of nicktoons stuff I liked like Mighty B, El Tigre, and like some other shows I'm forgetting but the CN lineup was pretty solid.

Robotboy I remember watching a lot of episodes just on youtube and liking it because he was a cool robot. I don't recall it ever actually airing so it fits in the category of "stuff I watched on youtube that is likely no longer on youtube or stuck on youtube kids." Atomic Betty... yeah, that was there. Honestly if it's a show that's probably been featured on some random youtuber's essay going like "hey remember that" there's a 50-50 chance I'll be there like "yeah , I do" or "Yeah, I don't."

I'm obviously still missing a huge amount of cartoons but otherwise I'd be here all day and Courage was definitely one for me where I was like "oh, cartoons don't have to be funny all the time? I wish Courage would have to stop fighting horrors."

pokespe (mato era) obvious if you've looked at this site for more than 5 minutes Yamamoto's is good but its reading pokespe as a kid with mato's artwork that made me go "i want to draw too!"
