Hello!

Comics and Cartoons

Genre

I feel like this one can easily get upgraded to a bigger one since there's so much to cover in theory of like cartoons I used to watch as a kid, cartoons I watch now, webcomics like the ones I used to read, webcomics I'm reading now... Do I have anything in mind right now though? Not really. I thought I did but it kind of evaporated while I was working on other pages.

Mahou Shoujo/Magical Girls

Genre

I’m not really that big of a mahou shoujo person as I used to be, I did recently watch sailor moon crystal but I haven’t touched precure in years. I watched Tokyo mew mew once, read through a la mode, never checked the reboot.

Winx club and W.i.t.c.h were both good from what I remember.
I never actually kept up with winx club past the Nickelodeon one because at that point I had outgrown the series which is a lie because I still watch the 4kids and RAI English dub just fine. Please don’t talk to me about the reboot. I pretend it doesn't exist.
I recently also watched through Madoka again but that’s like on the total tonal opposite of every other magical girl show here as like it’s own thing that spun a lot of media and stuff that like. Missed the entire point of the show I feel.
I’ve been meaning to watch through other shows like cardcaptor sakura, mermaid melody, and jewel pets. Haven’t really gotten very far though. I’ve also been watching miraculous ladybug. That one counts, right?

Another Reference to the Part Timers on the website. Look at these images of my characters before the game stopped working and when I fantasia'd a single character.

Megaman

Games/Multimedia

Megaman’s a bit of a strange case. I’m not great with the games, most of my experience comes from sprite comics or playthroughs or watching the inaccurate shows, so why do I like megaman?
Because Megaman is cool as hell. I've read through Archie Megaman and Hitoshi Ariga’s various mangas and I think the story of a robot helper going beyond his predefined definitions is cool, the music in the series is great, and it's one of those franchises that has unlimited potential like with the robot masters for years being from competitions. Battle Network's also a cool subfranchise where everything's based around the internet instead and it plays out as a real time card RPG where you have to select certain attacks to do cool combos. I just think robots are neat.

Starfy

Games

I’ll have you know that I brute forced my way through starfy 1, 2, and 3 without knowing a thing of Japanese since it’s mostly a puzzle based game. My most frustrating experience was that one maze level with a lot of trial and error.
I played through 5 which was localized as the legendary starfy as my intro to the series. It’s kind of fascinating in a weird way that starfy 1-3 is on switch online now. In Japanese Only.

Did you know? Outside of Starfy's assist trophy in brawl, he actually makes another appearance in a nintendo game? In super princess peach, a cameo of starfy can be found with his sunglasses on!
